RE: Where to Buy Your First Bitcoin or Other Crypto

Hey @kryptoanka, I just watched your video and I think you did a great job with it. You've clearly demonstrated that you're knowledgeable about these four exchanges and have done the work on your end. It's very logically structured and is easy to follow. In terms of the lighting, I like how the environment brightens your face and contrasts the darkness of the background.

Some constructive notes for you:

I like that you shared the main points of what you will be sharing at the beginning of the video, but I do feel that it was drawn out a bit. My recommendation would be to spend one or two sentences telling us what you will share, then immediately dive into an intriguing story that captures the viewers attention.

Also, it seemed like there were a few times throughout this video where you paused to look at your notes. For the viewer, it feels a bit distracting so a great way to counter that is to edit in a slide with your main points up on the screen. This way, you can look down on your notes while you're presenting but the audience won't see you looking down since you have the slide showing up on the video. Hopefully that makes sense. I'm basically telling you to add into images on the screen to make the content more engaging (by adding the visual information) and to also make it easier for you as the presenter.

Lastly, choose a background environment that is more inviting or interesting. I personally feel that you are attractive and look good on camera so it's not a huge deal but I think that if the background was more interesting, it would help improve the overall quality.

Overall, you did a really great job here Anka! Keep creating videos as much as you possibly can as it takes time and practice to really figure out a good production flow. I'm still figuring out mine and I've been creating videos for years!

Thanks so much for sharing and I hope my notes help :)

Cheers,

@axios, this is very helful, thank you very much!

Only when I tried to make this video, I realised how hard it actually is! You need to think about light, background, quality, editing, the list goes on. So really, now I can say that I truly appreciate all the hard work that Youtubers do.

Now back to your feedback.

I didn't actually have any notes with me, I guess that that was just my thinking face :D Hoping that the floor would tell me what to say next :D I should definitely try not doing that.

I really like your idea with the slides. For my next videos, I was thinking to actually show how to trade on the platforms, so that would be showing on the screen.

Regarding the background, I totally struggled to find a nice background environment. Nothing seemed to be looking good on camera:/ Will try to figure something out, maybe get a studio background?

Many thanks again for the comments, much appreciated.

I have lots to learn from people like you who have been doing it for years.

Thanks,

kryptoanka

@kryptoanka that's awesome that you were doing it all from your mind! Clearly you know what you're talking about so I definitely see that as a good thing. Having notes or a slide will definitely help you stay more in the flow.

I'm really glad you chose to just dive into this. There absolutely is a lot to figure out, that's why you just gotta keep doing it and learning as you go.

Doing things on camera is always a great choice. So if you actually had a screenshot video of you trading, that would be a great idea. It's way more interesting when you show people what you mean instead of telling them.

In terms of the background, if you can't find a good space then just edit in pictures and other stuff in your video to keep it interesting. Like I said, you have a great photogenic presence so you'll be fine, it'll just help keep things interesting when you add in the other stuff.

Take it one thing at a time. It can get overwhelming if you try to change it all at once. You'll figure out the formula that works for you in time. For now, keep on hitting record! :)

Thanks for the encouraging words:)
