I have learned some important things:
- things are, and will never be permanent. They can be stolen or broken.
- Do backup. Because data is always more valuable than the item lost.
I truly wish you can get a better replacement soon.
There is a Chinese saying
旧的不去，新的不来。
Literal translation:
The old has to go for the new to come
