It makes sense. With legalization coming to Canada in the next year or so we'll see more northern states voting bills to make it legal. Otherwise they'll have to deal with tons of people crossing the border to get legal cannabis and bringing it back home.
Plus we all know it was going to happen eventually state by state once California made it legal. The main problem I see ahead in the States is solving the issue of weed still being illegal at the federal level. With Trump in office I don't see that coming any time soon and until then cannabis business won't be able get credit cards or pay taxes like any other legit company.
