Exactly, that's the key… easier said than done of course but I guess that's all part of the 'game'!
I think if we are in the really negative space, then first getting to some sort of equilibrium would be what is required. Looking too far ahead could harm us. Then once we reach that point, we can look to improve to our full capabilities! Mihaly and Sinek among many authors, practitioners and personalities offer some great wisdom in this area.
It was more a case of the medical profession focusing on the negative side in decades past (without the influencers and access to information), whereas now, people are looking more and more to reaching their full potential and 'self-actualisation' as we progress and evolve (and have our basic needs taken care of).
