Trouble sleeping....
It may be no surprise that you find it harder to fall asleep when you're emotionally wound up.
Negative moods can make getting a good night's sleep a virtual impossibility. Frequently interrupted or insufficient sleep can lead to depression or anxiety.
Whichever may come first, a blue mood and poor sleep feed each other.

FATIGUE - Depression and anxiety can make it harder for you to stay asleep or experience deep sleep and can cause fragmented sleep leaving you feeling fatigued the next day.
NIGHTMARES - Frequent nightmares can be associated with depression and anxiety, as well as poor sleep quality. They can mke it a challenge to fall back asleep, leaving you with an inability to get a sold night's sleep, which leaves you feeling emotionally drained, which can impact your sleep the following night, and so on.
Depression, anxiety, and low moods are treatable!
Addressing this can help improve sleep quality along with boosting your energy level during the day.
Develop a sound sleep plan and discuss with your doctor your concerns.
Begin tonight, as you climb into bed and lay your head on your pillow, feel the comfort of your bed, let out a big deep breath. Calm your mind and take a deep breath counting to 4 on the inhale, and exhale deeply for the count of 6, repeat this 3 x. Focus on your breath and counting to block chatter.
This will help to relax the mind and can help with a better night's sleep.

Good article! I have some bad sleeps as well. The causes are as you have listed. Besides what you mentioned, I think the key is still to develop a healthy life style. Eat well, exercise well and keep a routine. Don't overthink, don't focus on the negative parts of life and don't feel bad about the past. Learn to forget and learn to forgive.
