The Evolution of the Global Container Shipping Industry

Very few companies offer such a direct and straightforward approach to their goals the way Blockshipping does. Here we have a company that it’s aiming to change the way the global container industry works by using digital currencies and Blockchain Technology. The company is looking to create a Global Shared Container Platform (GSCP) to handle worldwide shipping through freight containers using a utility token and unlike a lot of entrepreneurs who offer a plan and funding strategy, this company is already on the path of achieving its goals since they are already funded by private investors and the Danish Maritime Fund.

Why do we Need Blockshipping? What are they aware of that we don’t?

As most ICO initiatives, the team behind Blockshipping is looking to solve a problem. On their field studies, they have gathered that almost 60% of the world’s commerce is done using maritime transportation. But even with a lot of companies working around the clock on this industry to fulfill deadlines of corporations around the world. The industry is plagued with problems such as the overcapacity limits of most ships, the low rates paid to workers, the security threats faced out in the ocean either by hazards in the ship or the menace posed by modern pirates and of course the increased environmental regulations imposed by nations around the world.

How can they solve these problems? Do they have the Capacity to do so?

Blockshipping is looking to address most of these issues by increasing the efficiency levels and improving the distribution of resources that most companies don’t know how to handle properly. Their plan is to develop an ecosystem that lays the groundwork of a massive network where every actor in the shipping industry, no matter how big or small, can be connected to every single carrier, port, terminal, and Transport Company around the world to keep track of their shipments in real time. With 27 million metal freight containers around the world transporting goods and services at all moments, it’s hard to see a downside to this proposal.

This Company is definitely Aiming High, how do they Work Internally?

Blockshipping is looking to fulfill their offering by consolidating this worldwide network in the GSCP platform where every company that signs up will be able to keep track of every step of their operation using the blockchain log registry associated to their assignments and orders. Every single package contained on each container can be tracked and two types of utility tokens will handle all the transactions related to the platform. The first one is an external revenue sharing token named “Container Crypto Coin”, an ERC-20 token that will be offered in the public sale and will be available for trade in the secondary market. The second one is the “Container Platform Token” an internal token that will be used for private transactions.

Blockshipping is not a company that is looking for a meager share of the shipping market. They are looking for global integration and diminishing the losses of an industry that reported just in the last year a $5.7 billion deficit due to unforeseen causes on all fronts. I have come across the project before. I have noticed the discrepancies then and now. There is a noticeable difference. This initiative is really mind blowing. The growth is rapid which expression that the project is in the able hands.
The shipping business is actually really lucrative.

Blockshipping is the premiere global platform and register of freight containers. It is based on block chain technology, which makes it secure.

In addition, on this platform, all players in the shipping industry can perform a wide range of transactions that involve the handling of containers. Thanks to this plaformom, the shipping industry can increase profits and save huge amounts of money.

The blockchain-based GSCP platform will enable a wide range of industry stakeholders (Carriers, Beneficial Cargo Owners (BCOs), terminal operators, and transportation companies) to achieve cost savings and reduced container inventories based on real-time information exchange. The technology offers real-time visibility and blockchain enabled smart contracts that automate processes and payments between parties.

Nice post , amazing photography . Your information is very helpful .

I am waiting for your next new update news .

Your post is always different i follow your blog everytime , your post is so helpful . I always inspire of your post on my steem work . Thank you for sharing @danizaharie

Keep good work of every time ...

Really Blockshipping a revolutionary blockchain based platform as it's aiming to share of the shipping market. Thats very effective for shipping industry and it's more easier, safe and profitable. Thanks a lot sir @danizaharie to introduce the valuable platform and the official website sharing with us. Hope it will be a wonderful for the global container shipping industry.

Apparently MakerDAO and Blockshipping will work together on the Global Container Shipping Industry Transform. I recently read an article about Rune Christensen, CEO of MakerDAO. He sees many potential benefits in a collaboration with Blockshipping.

Maker is a decentralized autonomous organization on the Ethereum blockchain seeking to minimize the price volatility of its own stable token — the Dai — against the IMF’s international currency basket SDR.

Both MakerDAO and Blockshipping work internationally, but have a clear Scandinavian origin. This common cultural heritage provides a focus on common values of trust and transparency. Blockshipping currently operates from Copenhagen, and MakerDAO, which already has five offices around the world, is exploring a possible move from the head office to Copenhagen in the coming years.

i did go through their video and other resources on their web site. am i correct in assuming that containers now have been virtualized so that all logistics stakeholders can work on containers instead of companies that manage them. is it also true that containers can be from any company now and the ordinary user can ship his/her stuff onto it?

it looks like the blockchain USP seems to be transparency across all stakeholders and visibility into the actual happenings of the logistics input/output process.

clearly logistics is begging for a trustless fast payments model with hassles.

It probably does not need a Dapp. for the system to work, it requires only the blockchain database?

this seems to be a case wherein blockchain technology was not the real driving force but the "trustless" nature of usage that won out

The picture that can be painted with color of human imagination seems to be more natural. The painting is no longer in color and color. Photography is also limited to camera frames. Like technology and rich imagination of human imagination.

wow awesome photography. along with is such an informative article containing some key information regarding the evolution of the global container shipping industry.it was quite a detailed article and i really liked it.

Wow! mesmerizing photography

Another implementation of Blockchain in Container Shipping industry. Aweosme!

I am damn sure this Blockchain technology will rule the world in upcoming 5 years. IT industry growing much faster than any other.
