RE: The Evolution of the Global Container Shipping Industry

in #blockchain6 years ago

i did go through their video and other resources on their web site. am i correct in assuming that containers now have been virtualized so that all logistics stakeholders can work on containers instead of companies that manage them. is it also true that containers can be from any company now and the ordinary user can ship his/her stuff onto it?

it looks like the blockchain USP seems to be transparency across all stakeholders and visibility into the actual happenings of the logistics input/output process.

clearly logistics is begging for a trustless fast payments model with hassles.

It probably does not need a Dapp. for the system to work, it requires only the blockchain database?

this seems to be a case wherein blockchain technology was not the real driving force but the "trustless" nature of usage that won out
