10km in an hour is achievable for a lot of people depending on age and how much you can train. Take it steadily to start with and you will see improvements. I have achieved some of my goals, but I have got to a stage where further progress is hard to find.
Thanks for coming back. Im 53 but I am in reasonable shape and not over weight, my BP is perfect for my age......I can get out for a couple of hours a night. The other issue I have is that I find running incredibly boring, being an impatient soul, other than music, any tips please?

We're a similar age, but I started running about 6 years ago. It's great if you start out at a good weight. I listen to podcasts I'm running. I can always find something interesting. Try to find varied training such as intervals.
