과일의 종류, 자라는 곳, 생태 등이 나온다.
씨가 무수히 많은 용과일과 씨가 하나만 있는 망고, 씨가 겉에 붙은 딸기까지 씨의 다양한 형태도 설명하고 있다.
껍질을 먹을 수 있는 과일과 껍질을 벗겨 먹어야 하는 과일에 대해 설명한다.
과일로 만들 수 있는 것들은 잼, 오일, 쥬스 등이다.
우리에게 유용한 과일을 하루에 두세 종류 먹으면 좋단다.
