ZClassic Google Searches Growth Outperforms that of Bitcoin during 2018

An exclusive dossier with data analysis regarding Google Searches Growth in crypto, which we had an insight to, shows that during the last month, the word "Bitcoin" was searched 10,598,333 times on Google scoring a 102.50% growth since November, while "ZClassic" was "googled" 11,392 times scoring an astonishing 270.20% growth since November. What's interesting is that ZCL also outperformed BTC when it comes to the growth of Google searches regarding the asset's price, as "bitcoin price" was searched 7,558,333 times for a 146.50% growth while "zclassic price" was googled 1,502 times for a 214.6%

It should also be noted that ZCL beat Bitcoin yet again when it comes to the growth of the number of times people have looked up the news about either asset. "Bitcoin news" was searched on Google 621,292 times making a 65% growth since November while "zcl news" was searched 68 times making a 389.90% growth since November.

This statistic should come as not much of a surprise considering that the BTCP / ZCL team has just recently hyped the crowd up by announcing the fork snapshot date for the 28th of February, 2018 (with the hard fork supposed to happen approximately 2-4 days after that) in front of a packed & sold-out venue in Houston, Texas and that the main developer of BTCP, Rhett Creighton was recently interviewed by Bloomberg, the world's leading media outlet when it comes to the world of finance. The picture above also shows that ZCL had an amazing year so far when it comes to being the trending mention on Twitter, as it is second only to Bitcoin.

We do not know for sure if this info is 100% correct and verified but it sure does sound interesting. It should also be noted that the collected data has some flaws as well, such as the only monitored google search regarding price was "bitcoin price" and "zclassic price" and not for example "what is btc worth right now", "what's btc currently worth" or "what is zcl price right now" which are both very frequent Google searches and could significantly change the statistic. No Google searches containing "coinmarketcap" have been observed by this dossier as well, which could also point to the possible flaws in the statistic as well as alter it. And of course, as with every other statistic, the margin of error is always somewhere between 0.5-2%, but although it might not be perfect, this dossier certainly shows that the overall interest in the ZCL/BTCP project has increased dramastically, as did it's presence in both the mainstream and the crypto specialized media.
