Shooting at YouTube Headquarters Unrelated to Terrorism

The shooter at YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California, United States, shot himself after injuring three people on Tuesday (3/4/2018).

The perpetrator was found dead at the scene. Meanwhile, three people with gunshot wounds have been taken to the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.

Another victim suffered injuries while trying to escape from the scene.

The perpetrator who lives in Southern California is suspected of shooting because it was triggered because of domestic problems. The incident is believed not to be related to terrorism.

Reported by ABC News, San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini said law enforcement has been combing all areas of the building to ensure the situation is safe.

The building will be closed and investigators are expected to conduct on-site investigations throughout the night. "There is no immediate threat to the community," he said.

A police source said the shooter was female and was estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old. The perpetrator also does not have a clear connection to YouTube, while the person suspected of being the target of the shoot is in critical condition.

A gun used by the perpetrator has been secured by the police. Meanwhile, the police have not released the identity of the perpetrators of the shooting. In the aerial picture, people were seen coming out of the building by raising their hands. Police officers wearing bulletproof vests appeared entering the building.

YouTube spokesman Chris Dale praised the police response to the incident. "Today feels like the entire YouTube community and employees are victims of this crime.

Our hearts are with those who are suffering in this attack, "he said.Around 1,700 people work in the YouTube office, the company's parent YouTube, Google said in a statement, it was coordinating with authorities.
