Hell no I wouldn't. I'd rather buy a slick lenovo for $200 and run it with Linux. May not be that fast as this Pixelbook, but could do much more, for a lot less bang.

You could buy 2 Lenova's, set one up as a steem Witness (a little underpowered - but likely functional) , and then have $600 left to buy more steem. :-)
it looks good and its thin in a nice way but for $1000 i would rather go for ultra book , either hp or dell xps 13 and also install chromium or kali linux
