However, a recent study has suggested that caloric intake of food has an important role with youth. Lean M. Redman, the lead researcher, said that if he could leave extra calories in the diet, it would be good for health. According to them, it is possible to avoid excess 15% of calories from the food list or to keep extra youth for at least two years.

Aging is such a biological subject that comes forward in normal process and normal pace. To keep young people, scientists now insist on finding ways to stop the aging of humans. The first step to prevent the aging process in this process may be prevention. In continuation of this, scientists are trying to find strategies to keep human youth.

In this study, scientists have found that if one can reduce calorie intake to one-and-a-half years, then significantly decreases its metabolic rate if he can follow dietary habits. If the trend of the first year is continued, the second year the metabolic rate remains under control. Overall oxidative pressure decreases. Due to oxidative stress, there is a negative effect on cancer, heart disease, hearing and vision problems, atheritis, memory problems, liver, kidney failure. If someone regularly reduces calories from diet, the tendency of aging to decrease means that the youth is lasting longer. Research results have been published in the 'Cell Metabolism' journal.
