RE: My Favorite Fossil? Terapetrifiedite Stumpicus 💎 Can't Have Just One!

in #yourluckyphotos6 years ago

Thank you very much @snowyknight!
Those rocks were very photogenic, took
to many photos, was hard picking through
them all. ''Trees living as rocks'' ironwood
kinda comes to mind. Along with Devils
tower, giant stump I mean volcanic core!

It would be something if it was, not sure
how big the biggest trees were during
the ages of different giant things.

Living fossil leaves or in stasis, found around
different archeological digs, that quickly
turn brown when exposed to the air and
light. Leaves living as mud stones. 🌿

Just some random thoughts :-)

Your post brings this to mind. A tree of stone, columner joints, formed two ways, once by the giant bear, or the former core of a volcano. Both are beautiful and both almost hard to believe.

Thank you for this, especially the "leaves living as mud stones". Have a nice evening.
