I have premature babies. My 7-month babies - Mira Frances was 1.8kg and Marko Francis was 1.2kg when they came out. I was told that because they are born prematurely they are very susceptible to infections.

Nevertheless, I have a very strong belief that they won't be getting infections easily because I am exclusively breastfeeding. I am one of those mothers who is an advocate of breastfeeding and I have the best doctor (Dr. Bangayan) alongside with me in taking good care of my children.

However, when we moved in Bacolod last year, I do not have Dr. Bangayan with me (of course) and it became so different. My children got sickly. Their cough & colds doesn't seem to go away. Antibiotics ends up twice a month, taking antihistamines sometimes for a month but it never go away. Colds never go away and ends up having cough - bad cough! We have been in & out of clinics sometimes three times in a week. It's very exhausting to me and especially to my kids. My husband gets home from work getting more stressed & worried because they get sick again & again.

Both my children have allergic rhinitis so it is a NO NO for us that the house is dirty. We came to a point that our floor is cleaned & wiped with 70% alcohol everyday! We do not use broom as it makes the dust "fly". We go out with a face mask all the time and sometimes when we are commuting, I give a mask to the driver regardless if he has a cough or not. I always request them & tell them that my children are very sensitive & they obediently adhere anyway.

On their third hospitalization last year, I was crying so painfully looking at my children. It was just 2 months ago they were also in the hospital.
I was praying that one day they will not take antibiotics or synthetic medicines if they get cough & colds. December last year, they had 3 different kinds of antibiotics not to mention all the other medicines they are taking. I got worried. Their bodies are still so fragile.

Until somebody gave me a gift that made a lot of difference in our lives.
