Cut Rate Insurance That Is Too Low to Rate
GEICO insurance adjusters are totally incompetent, at best. They make an incredible amount of mistakes, will not provide their supervisors email address or phone number, and will not make your life easier if you have a claim.
They shut off my rental car early.
They reported my accident incorrectly to the system insurance companies use call Lexus Nexus which made it impossible for me to be insured as a motorist until they fixed it. It still is not right. The accident appears to be my fault in the system despite what is on the police report. The other motorist even admitted fault. Currently is it classified as a no fault accident. Six months later and dozens of emails to my lawyer, still wrong. My insurance premiums have been wrong for 6 months. It will take another 6 months for the update to populate in the system, IF they ever do it correctly.
They gave me the wrong forms.
They refused to set an appointment to talk and instead called me randomly during business hours. If I asked them to text, they would call. If I asked them to call, they would text.
This is not a company you want to give money to or deal with during a stressful time, such as right after a car accident, especially if you are injured and need to get to physical therapy.
Oh, the check I got for my car was under market value by 25 percent and instead of taking out $100 for the deductible they took out $750! It still has not been corrected, even with having a lawyer represent me against GEICO Insurance here in Washington State.
