VERGE (XVG) Is going on a HARD FORK TODAY 22/1/2018
As it was announced today on 22/1/2018 Hard fork for VERGE is going to happen.
You don't need to do anything special and you are not gonna loose any coins. You just have to download the new Wallet and Sync it with the new blockchain.
- No coins will be issued (This is not a FORK like Bitcoin - Bitcoin Cash - Bitcoin Gold and e.t.c.
- No coins will be lost.
- All exchanges today are in Maintanance you don't have to worrie, just wait for the FORK to happen and everything will be okay.
- Reason for the Hard Fork: Implement Annonymous Stealth Transactions.

thanx for the info , I have some verge coins so good to know . most of the time I try to stay informed as good as possible but.. this news I must of missed it somehow , thanks for sharing

What if your coins are on an exchange?
Everything will be okay, no coins will be lost.
A lot of folks out there are griping about how verge was a bust. People who made an investment on it even three months ago are sitting on a several times profit. Verge is a good solid coin and will rise again on it's own time - with or without McAfee.
