Ripple's University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) was launched in 2018 with a $50 million commitment to support academic research, technical development, and innovation in blockchain and cryptocurrency at leading universities worldwide.
Over the past five years, UBRI has partnered with over 50 universities across six continents, awarded 590 fellowships and scholarships, and supported the publication of over 1,000 research articles and presentations. The program has also helped to create new and expanded blockchain courses at universities, including Morgan State, Morehouse College, Stillman College, and Florida A&M University.
In this video I talk about how XRPL will become a household name, figuratively speaking, and how everyone will eventually use it.
