It's not enough, -" just to exist"

Growing up isn't easy. You will suddenly realize that all the comfort you have back when you are still a kid does not exist anymore. It is you who should lead your life. It is you who should pay for your bills. It is you who should talk to people. No parents nor friends. Just You.

I am still not sure if I am doing things right but I am just plainly happy to be alive and learn new things everyday. I'm still not the person who I want to be but I know at the end of it all, I'm going to be.

What makes you tick? Me. It's music, books, movies, my dogs, my family. What am I yearning for? I am yearning to discover what I really want. I am yearning to be happy for who I am. Withouth the approval of others, just happy being me :) I know it's hard because as human beings it seems that we are wired to incessantly yearn for something, to change.

However, I won't let the world or my current suffering to take away my lust for life. I am a smart, strong, talented and beautiful woman. It is not enough to just exist. Every step should be a step towards where you want to go.
