Relationship with narcissist
For narcissist relationships revolve around them, and they experience their mates as extensions of themselves. Being with a self rate personality there is nothing you will do that will be right or appreciated by these group of persons. Their partners are expected to meet their endless needs when needed.
Narcissist don’t like to be rejected and the always want others to know what they want at a particular time without having to ask. The annoying part is they find fault in everything. In vain attempt to win approval and stay connected, their partners sacrifice their needs at all times to please them thereby, gradually losing their self worth and start living for the partner and not for happiness nor for themselves.
Likewise, when two narcissists get together, they fight over whose needs come first, blaming and push each other away yet miserably needing each other.
In these relationships getting emotionally close means losing power and control. The thought of being dependent is abhorrent. It not only limits their options and makes them feel weak, but also exposes those concern to rejection and feelings of shame, which they keep from consciousness at all cost.
At the same vain relationship should be based on understanding and respecting each other differences...partners should strive do away with some ego in other to have a successful relationship.
