THE MINISTRY OF RESTORATION

James 5:20

Let the [latter] one be sure that whoever turns a sinner from his evil course will save [that one's] soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins [procure the pardon of the many sins committed by the convert].

Falling is not as important as rising up and moving on. There is a vast difference between the fallen and risen. For one thing: falling is an art which Satan has almost perfected. He is never comfortable whenever he sees the fallen sinner rise up over and above his downfalls to embrace true holiness. In Romans 3:23, apostle Paul discusses the state of the human body:

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (NKJV)

For this very reason, the Lord makes available and in abundance the free gift of salvation in Jesus to all who believe in Him and turn away from their sins. But there are many in the world today who have no idea about this. An information gap thus exists here. There are places in the world today without the shining light of the gospel making its way through. There are hearts today blinded by the wiles of the devil. It is these ones that need Jesus most. I believe that the cruelest of all decisions is to withhold Jesus from the sinner. Do you know that so much darkness can be pierced through if the sons of light be just that: lights. And lights do nothing but to show the way. To who? To the source of light: Jesus!

The ministry of restoration is the ministry of all saints. It is not something meant for Pastors only. All Christians must be actively involved in bringing in the lost. I tell you this: the greatest service you can render to anybody is the redemption of his soul from damnation. One sin brings damnation, much less a multitude! But when you turn a sinner from his evil way, you procure his salvation; you secure his life for Jesus. How many souls have you pointed the way today? How many lives have you secured with Jesus today?

Lord, I receive the ministry of reconciliation to bring sinners and the fallen to You. As I point the erring to Your light, I ask that You will bless this service and touch their hearts.

You got this on spot

powerful one @williamshenry but ill still like to ask, what happens when we turn away from our sins and in one way or the other through our imperfect nature we fall astray just again, is the Grace still sufficient to take us back? i guess your answer might be yes, but then ill still want to find out. HOW DOES THE HOLYSPIRIT FEEL WHEN WE INVITE HIM INTO OUR LIVES AND THEN WHEN WE FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY, OFCOURSE HE LEAVES, and then we invite him again,..does he not feel insulted? will love to know more. steemon!
