It's the perfect time...
Are you waiting for that “perfect” time to start that project?
You can start on your goals after things slow down.
You can’t start your diet right now, not till you hit the gym, but you can't go to the gym until work slows down.
So you don't start, it's not the right time.
You're waiting for that perfect time when the stars align, things slow down at work, and life stops, winks at you and whispers, "It’s time."
That day is never coming...
There is no perfect time, there never will be.
The truth is you're just tricking yourself into being ok with not pushing past your comfort zone and making it ok with not moving forward.
You make excuses to make yourself feel better about waiting till later. You don't have to work on or worry about your goals till “blank” (insert current time-sucking event in your life) is done.
So you make it ok not to start.
Tomorrow. Next week. Never.
Unfortunately, it’s also what keeps us from growing, thriving, and being our best self.
What happens is once that time-consuming task is over, you pick up two more preventing the perfect scenario.
But I lied...
I said there isn't a perfect time, but there is, it's right now.
It isn't the one you were waiting for but trust me, its perfect.
It's perfect because you're alive... because all you have is right now.
It's only when you make something a priority, that you find time for it.
So start, right now, this very second.
If you tell yourself…
I don't have time - make time
I have to watch my kids - multitask
I need at least 8 hours of sleep - you can function fine on 7
If you can't find the time...
Hunt it.
Chase it.
Make it happen.

Great post rico suave!
For years I puttered along doing dumb 'projects' thinking I was building something worthwhile.
It wasn't until I set a date, quit my job, and had a wife and kid to support at the same time did I get to work.
If only everyone knew...yes, you work hard to achieve your dreams...but after awhile, it doesn't feel like work anymore.
You love what you do, you wake up excited and bummed on a Saturday.
