We have the saying that the dog is the humans best friend - but I also used to say that the human is the sea gulls best friend!

In my childhood we often went out fishing - and if we got something, we would gut it and clean it, giving the sea gulls quite some of the "junk" (intestines, gut and maybe the head) that we didn't want to eat ourselves.
