A flash flood is a sudden and powerful rush of water that happens after heavy rain. It can flood streets, homes, and fields within minutes, leaving little time to prepare. Flash floods can damage property, harm people, and wash away crops. Though dangerous, they remind us of nature’s power and the need to protect our environment.
