A Step by step guide to writing an amazing blog post

Everything that turns out be amazing needs proper planning, and creating an amazing blog post is no different.

Prior to creating a blog post, you need to create a rough outline.

Once done that, half of your job is done. Now you are ready to write a final draft and publish it.

So, following are the steps you need to follow,

1. Ask yourself who is your audience?

Which country your targeting audience belongs to, what's their age bracket, and if your topic is more suitable for a specific gender.(this will help you narrow down your topic and research).

Ask yourself what's the purpose of your blog? What's your call to action--- what action you want your audience to take . Once they are done reading your blog post.

1. Think of possible titles related to your main idea.

It's not supposed to be a perfect title, you don't have to finalize it before your blog post is done. Just something to keep you focused on the main idea. A working title that guides your post, keep you focused, and helps you resist the urge to ramble off into a million different directions.

1. Create an outline

• here you can mark all the important resources you would like to consult, once you start writing your final draft.

• You will write all the important quotes that you would like to include in your post.

• You will create your subheadings now, once done that, it will be easier to fill these in later.

1. Write the content under your sub headings.

2. Write your conclusion or call to action.

3. Write your introduction now.

4. Write a captivating headline.

5. Let it rest for a day. Next day revise it with fresh eyes. (Most important part).

6. Now revise your piece, and proofread it (you will be amazed to find so many errors and so many ideas that you would like to edit now) which might not have been possible had you chosen to post it on the same day.

7. Now your final draft is ready to publish.
