So, I was about to write a mean article - Men Cause 100% of Unwanted Pregnancies

Yesterday I spent around 25 minutes writing a 1000 words article about another article I found on Medium through twitter, written by someone called Gabrielle Blair, titled "Men Cause 100% of Unwanted Pregnancies".
The article I wrote was pretty mean, explaining exactly why what the author wrote on Medium is men hating and total bullshit. I still believe it is. However, I decided to try and be the "better man" and not respond to hate with hate.
In short, here's the idea that Gabrielle tries to share - men are responsible for unwanted pregnancies, for all of them, because they don't know how to responsibly ejaculate (or don't want to). Then she proceeds, of course, to say how women are victims and how men are the mean ones for causing those pregnancies.
My argument was the following, one by which I still stand: Men are not responsible for 100% of unwanted pregnancies, just as women are not responsible for that either. Both genders are responsible for an unwanted pregnancy.
The woman should be capable of choosing the right partner. If the person she picks ends up being a jerk, even if he didn't appeared to be one at first, the women should simply move on and find someone else, while not compromising her principles and doing something she doesn't want because the guy insists.
The man is responsible for not trying to trick women, for using a condom even if it reduces pleasure and for taking responsibility in case something does happen.
Both men and women are equally responsible for unwanted pregnancies, and denying that, saying that women are victims, and men are those who pressure them into having unprotected sex just so they can ejaculate inside to prolong their orgasm for just a few more seconds, is simply ridiculous.
This not only ignores the idea that women also have some responsibilities, but it also makes you think that men are always the mean ones and women are never irresponsible, which is incorrect. Some women get drunk. Some women want to have unprotected sex. Some women just don't give a crap.
But in today's world, where people (mostly angry women and "white knights") want to strangle you the second you say something bad about women in general, it's hard to mention the things above without receiving a lot of hate.
The thing is that blaming men and hating men is becoming a common thing. Women who scream at and even hit men are left to do their thing, while a man hitting a woman is harshly punished.
Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying men should hit women, or that women are horrible. I'm saying both of them are, sometimes, doing something stupid. Denying that simply because you hate the other gender doesn't mean you're right.
Instead of writing an article focused on why men are to blame for unwanted pregnancies and why they are 100% responsible, the author could've written an article talking about how to protect yourself, as a woman, from men who want to treat you like an object. It could've also been an article about how to responsibly have sex, as a man, in order to avoid unwanted pregnancies.
But the article is not doing that. Instead, it promotes a toxic mentality - women are victims, and men are to blame, which can make a lot of inexperienced women believe that they don't really have to (or can't) do anything against men who are irresponsible, instead of encouraging them to learn how to protect themselves.
Overall, I think that's a toxic article, and I can't find a good reason why Medium would share it on their Twitter. Is it because the author has a paid membership? It's really all about giving them money? Did someone who agrees with her decided it's a good idea to share that type of article?
I'm not gonna stop reading articles on the website simply because there are A LOT of authors writing there who deserve to be supported, but I doubt Medium made a smart choice yesterday.
I am definitely gonna avoid subscribing and supporting them, as long as they are okay with promoting men hating articles, but would never, ever, accept something similar dedicated to blaming women.
I'm glad I deleted the article I wrote yesterday and I wrote this one instead, where I'm a lot more calm and a lot more civil.
Anyway, what do you think about this? Do you think the author of the article is right? If you're interested in reading it, the name of the article, as I said above, is "Men Cause 100% of Unwanted Pregnancies". You can easily find it on Medium.
