WHERE DOES INTROVERSION COME FROM?

in #writing6 years ago

Have you experienced this?

Has any of your idea been ignored because THEY think they have the better idea than yours?

Have you ever come up an idea you think its brilliant but ended up unrecognized or even mocked by others?

or Have you ever known a person who is very strange and secretive? That no matter how you stalk someone you still can't find something to say about that person.

If you're reading this then these questions might have captured you. You might had either felt the same in the past (if ur one) or reminded of someone.

We often come across people who are TOO shy to interact, intervene or even interrogate. But we didn't realize how these personalities form on some people.

INTROVERT.

You might have encountered these terms that describes someone who is mute, mysterious, unfriendly, unsociable and also often judged as poor-aloof fellow. We sometimes don't understand why they act that way "almost at all times".

Frankly speaking. I, myself is an introvert. My colleagues can tell that pretty often. You have personal ideas about what introversion really is but I have my own point of view about the reasons why introvert people do exist.

Introvert people are in fact the ones who have a lot to think than they say. They have even bright ideas but they are just too afraid and shy to share to others because they can't deal the fact how foolish their idea might be that their ideas aren't "cool" or great enough to majority of people.

In the other hand, introvert people may assume confidence at first at what they do such as leadership, management, creative thinking, brainstorming and even on physical skills like any sport. But sometimes, they would receive criticisms later on instead of motivation from friends. They can even get insulted or humiliated if he/ she would ever fail.

Thus, introversion will be formed from within along with all insecurities and inferiority. Instead of exuding the inner talents, one would hold back from a lot of opportunities to success. Because they fear not receiving positive credit.
This is very common nowadays specially among adolescents at school and even to early adulthood as they face the forces of getting a productive career.

Another thing that brings introversion on some people is the other's opinion of them in general. Some people (the judgmental ones) would often pry on someone else's private life which they find unappealing, boring or even mediocre. If you're confused, let me give you an example:

"A woman whose boyfriend is ugly has posted a pic of theirs to cherish moments. We often see posts like these on Facebook or Instagram. Then you would notice how large the number of bashers on the comment section."

"A gay guy posted a pic of him and his boyfriend having a perfect date then receives thousands of negative comments about how nasty homosexual relationship is."

"A girl who posted her new things such as new cellphone or new car out of overwhelmed excitement has been judged as arrogant and boastful and "too pathetically proud" ."

"A woman who loves creating short stories or novels online using English language was insulted for her incorrect grammar."

"A person who is trying to be fluent in a certain language was being ridiculed as pathetically-incompetent."

These scenarios could probably a slap on their faces. The feeling of getting judged is like a lingering pain in the heart. Because of inordinate judgement of several people, one can get either inferior or embarrassed of oneself. Then instead of showing their real identity to the people around them, they would rather hide inside their shells forever.

Just like me. . . .
