PART TWO:
After the deadly poison ruined and swallowed the Greek City of Phillipsburg, we were left with a dilapidated collapsed empire. I could shamelessly and safely say that the rise and fall our city has been constant in history. I was left alone with my Father in a solitary area where darkness chased light and there were we finding and battling the deadly ignorance that brought down the empire.
My Father held me by the hand and brought me to his tent area there were dead laid bodies gone to an unseen world. While alive, in the sweetness and gladness of their soul, they drank to stupor and died a death of pleasure; ending in the doom of no return. There they traveled through the paths into a journey wandering in a maze of detours and dead ends.
Ignorance is a poison that kills all the good feelings, all the good relationship and all the actions of love and good life - @peterwrites-
Lately, I had realised that the lack of knowledge could be this destruction, draining, deadly and cancerous to human body and soul.
We migrated from Phillipsburg having witnessed the unbearable state of the city; it was left barren like desert where little precipitation occurs. Hence, living condition was unprotected; that was the degree, ignorance could wipe off the city.
At home front, off the city; we came through street-to-street away from home where we had to search for greener pastures otherwise we join the victims. We came into another city Northern East, called Philadelphia in Adamsburg. There were seasoned men and women greased in wisdom to counsel. They held wisdom like flowers in their hair and rings on their fingers.
Although, Adamsburg was tinted in gold and silver yet they bought wisdom regreting nothing but gaining something eternal. How this happened I couldn't fathom. Until I went up the mountain where I saw how they crave and searched in for insight like a prospector panning for gold and like an adventurer on a treasure hunt.
AUTHOR' S NOTE:
Without sounding skeptical, we are all aware of the consequences and implication of being ignorance especially in this 21st century of ours. I have graciously pen down my thought about ignorance and wisdom in a storytelling approach to examine the benefits and dangers of both subject matter.
Had to bring to the fore this theme to point out the need to finding wisdom and understanding in everything that we do. Even our creator, couldn't do without wisdom that by wisdom he found the earth and by understanding he established the heavens.
Imagine in the world where everyone lack information and wisdom, how the world will look like. That's a perfect picture I created in your mind while narrating the story of how many were deadly ignorant living life without understanding and knowledge.
To end this, I will conclude with the proverb of King Solomon: To know wisdom and instruction; is to perceive the words of understanding.
