TRAFFIC CONGESTION IN MY COUNTRY

Seriously on my way back from business today, I was held up in the traffic for over three long hours, was neither going forward nor backwards. got frustrated and started wondering why traffic is increasing by the day is that more people are buying cars or the roads are now too small to accommodate the cars on ground.

Sometimes you can't help to wonder what are the causes of this congestion, because sometime when the line gets to move you find out that nothing so serious happened to warrant such congestion, often times I believe its sometimes spiritual.
Let us look at some of the causes of these congestion, it is caused by multiple causes and here are some but not all of the causes. Too many cars for the roadway due to inadequate mass transit options or other reasons, Obstacles in the road which can be a car that has broken down or out of fuel, accident or the case of men at work on the road, malfunctioning of traffic lights, too many pedestrians crossing not permitting cars to turn, and the major one in my country is the presence of too many heavy duty trucks on the road.


What ever may be the cause I believe there are solution to it and it is high time we started doing something about it. We could establish a traffic control corp the will be fully responsible to ensure free flow of vehicles to and fro its destination.
Please let the government of the day think about this suggestion.
