Jessica waited and Darius didn’t know why she waited, he was surprised at her restraint in the face of all the blood, but he patted her on her head and then had to stand up and step back as she became the ravening beast once more.

Her features altered from those of a wolf and went directly to those of the nightmare beasts that horror films tried to encapsulate.

The fury and violence that was evident on her face made Darius take a wary step away from her and Vladimir looked around to see if there were any other escape routes from the cellar.

She was between him and the only exit.

Jessica tore through the Hume’s corpse like a set of industrial band saws and she sprayed blood, flesh and offal around the cellar.

Darius took yet another step back to avoid becoming soiled by the blood. He looked down then and saw his own handprint on his new trousers and he swore.

Vladimir wondered what he was swearing at and he laughed despite his fear.

Jessica looked up at Vladimir then and he saw that her face had begun to alter. She looked very much like someone that had begun to put on a costume and had only partly finished her make-up.

Her nose was still Wolfen, as were her eyes, but the rest of her face had taken on her human characteristics and the effect was rapidly making its way down her body. Her bloodlust was slaked and she was returning to her own form.

Darius didn’t give her anything to cover herself with and Vladimir wasn’t about to but she didn’t seem to care that she was naked.

She followed Darius from the cellar and Vladimir rushed to catch up so that he would get as long a view of her swaying rear as was possible.

She snatched up the filthy blanket that Entwistle had been using and Vladimir was disappointed that she would cover herself with it but she sniffed at it and recoiled from the smell of Entwistle.

He grinned then as she began to climb the stairs but as he got to the bottom step, she threw the blanket at him. It wrapped around his head so that by the time he had freed himself from its stinking, cloying fabric, the only thing left to see of Jessica’s nakedness was her foot disappearing off the top step.

Jessica didn’t go straight into the office to follow Darius; she went up to her room and came back in moments with her bathrobe draped around her.

It was obvious that she was still under the influence of her time as a wolf because she hadn’t got the hang of tying the sash belt and the robe was uneven and loose although it was up to the job of shielding her from Vladimir’s lustful gaze.

She slumped into a chair and stared at Darius in a spaced-out kind of way.

“I hope you’re going to be able to get her down from this trip she’s on by tomorrow if we’re going to meet with Selene.” Vladimir said.

Darius looked at him with a baleful stare and sneered at his notion. “Tomorrow? We’re not going to meet Selene when she asked us to. We’re going to gather up my troops and meet her before she’s ready. We’re going over to visit Selene tonight.”

“What, with her looking like she was just dropped off from the last spaceship that visited?”

Darius looked at Jessica as though he’d not seen her before and sighed.

He nodded to Vladimir as though accepting what he said. “I suppose we’ll have to give it up then, but there’ll be another Lupine Moon around in another five hundred years, we’ll just have to be patient.”

Then he stood up and went across the office to a large filing cabinet that as far as Vladimir knew, was always locked.

Vladimir puzzled out whether Darius meant what he said or had been being sarcastic.

Darius opened the filing cabinet; inside was a refrigerated unit. Vladimir looked at the shelves filled with vials and phials and he gaped. He had had no idea that Darius kept that amount of his produce on stock.

Darius saw the surprise on Vladimir’s face and asked, “Where would I keep it? I’m always here so this is the safest place and if even you didn’t know it was here then I guess it’s pretty safe.”

Vladimir took a closer look and Darius allowed him to take out a vial of his favourite hormone.

He showed it to Darius but didn’t ask. Darius nodded that it was ok for him to have the adrenalin and he gave him another couple of the little test-tube shaped containers.

“Take these up to Lickspittle and inject that one as close to his spine as you can and that one you’ll keep until we’re ready to let him loose.”

Sort:

So, jessica is fully fed, and soon we get to see the meaning behind the dream she had. Will she be controlled by Darius, or with Entwistle wish he'd been killed for real the first time around. Either way, going to be an interesting meeting with Selene. And if Darius thinks she is not ready for him, I think he is mistaken.

You always ask pertinent questions. Spot-on for what's been shared so far. Also, your insights are brilliant too. Thank you!

Today I read at once two chapters (yesterday's and today's) and I can say that it's delicious. I like how events smoothly flow into fury and violence. The described rage of Jessica is like a cherry on a cake
As before, the chapter ended at the most interesting moment :)
Thank you, we are waiting for the continuation

Man, those are actually scary werewolves...

Yeah, just right for this, I think.

:)

I am really scared to read this and watch these images of wolves. These are the real werewolves. Your mind is like a search engine how you are creating all this. You are doing an excellent work.
Thanks alot for writing this.

Thank you. If my writing is scaring you, I think I'm doing a good job ;)

Great one @michelle.gent. Keep writing!

          Re-steem!

This is violence galore: 'The fury and violence that was evident on her face made Darius take a wary step away from her and Vladimir looked around to see if there were any other escape routes from the cellar.'

Action packed and no dull moment. Awaiting the next episode.
