The greatest deception. (Part I)

in #writing7 years ago

Aranza, a shy and very introverted girl, only did what she was supposed to do at school, that which did not require much exposure to people, however she was very intelligent and responsible, at the beginning of each day she only wanted to finish school, to return to take refuge at home, her mother, Isabella, was always loving and supported her in everything and always sought to get her out of her shell, she was his only friend because when they got to talk to her at school she just turned around and left because her nerves were overwhelming, at home she had everything and her mother, who was single, had always struggled to give him the comforts she never had, an elegant and very beautiful woman, tall, slender and with an unparalleled charisma, she worked in an accounting office as an assistant to a respected accountant, although Aranza had never gone to her work she felt very proud of everything her mother had achieved on her own.

Aranza didn't know any of her mother's relatives, and obviously less so her father's. She once asked about the family, but Isabella only told her that she was an orphan and she was never interested in looking for them. She enrolled Aranza in all kinds of schools and classes, told him that the best thing she could leave him would be what she had in her mind and heart, so she would always give him all her love and studies that she could, when she reached the age of 13 Aranza showed a great interest in computers and technology, her mother paid her online programming courses and everything that Aranza found and for which she was interested.

The years go by and Aranza is in the last semester of high school, she was a beautiful teenager but always hid behind her big clothes and thick glasses, she just wanted the last day to come so she wouldn't know anything more about mockery or malicious labels from her classmates, they always called her a freak, they told her "there goes the bitch's daughter" she just hid in the bathroom until the next class, one day the "popular" girls in her living room, knowing where she always hid, prepared a container of urine and threw it in the bathroom where she was, Aranza was so surprised that he fell to the floor filling up with more of the disgusting liquid, he could only open the door and do what his experience told him, run away, run and look up his mother's work address on his phone, just remembered the name and searched the internet, He would look for Mr. Giorgio Paccodilli, who was the famous accountant his mother worked for, when he arrived at the reception desk crying, the secretary saw her with disdain, "girl, what are you doing here?, You're messing up my floor, which is disgusting. Who are you looking for?" Aranza took off the sweater she always wore and threw it in the trash. "Good afternoon, I'm looking for Miss Isabella Cortés, Mr. Paccodilli' assistant."
the secretary only saw her with confusion and annoyance, and looked at the guard at the entrance, making a sign to get her out of the place, "girl, this is no place to look for that kind of woman, you are wrong", the guard approached Aranza and took her by the arm and took her to the exit, At this point she was very upset and humiliated and shouted letting go of that man's arm "my mother works here and I need her right now, she can't see in the state I'm in, I just need to talk to her, please" in that last sentence she lowered her voice with tears in her eyes, "child, your mother doesn't work here, but if she does work with Mr. Paccodilli, I recommend that you wait for her at home and talk to her", this time she spoke to him without sarcasm or disdain, but rather with a marked compassion in her voice.

Aranza goes home with so much anger and impotence that when he arrives he enters his mother's room and searches everything, dividing his things, and throwing everything away, looking for something to tell him that his mother wasn't lying to him, but she didn't make it, he doesn't even see a piece of paper or work papers, she goes to the library and nothing, he calms down, takes a shower and laughs thinking about the irony of it all, of the fact that she was saddened by what the girls in her class did to her and the anger that her mother lied to her made her forget about that event, she thinks with a cool head and decides to investigate her mother, gets dressed and goes out to see the disaster, "I am smarter than this" she says out loud and starts to fix everything...
