RE: The Key to Writing Tight Flash Fiction
Some really good thoughts and advice here. I'll resteem it so I can find it again! I am trying NOT to over analyse my writing and stories at the moment (I find it too easy to get paralysed into not writing anything, by trying to get things perfect - but that is a personal struggle), but I think this will be useful when I come to look back at what I have written and edit and rewrite (probably about a year after I write them!) :)
Perhaps consider looking at the arc before writing then instead of analyzing. If you develop a picture of the arc either in writing or in your head, you can better strip it down to the transitional moment then capture that in words.
Thank you for the resteem!
