Good Quality is hardly noticed but poor quality cant be ignored!

In my earlier article , I veered of to another point which I had promised to expand later today. Unfortunately, I was caught up playing football all day. I was so tired and wanted to just fall right into my bed when I returned but wait! I remembered it was a promised I had made and who is a man if his word means nothing?

So as I write, I'm like;

It was about how quality is often overlooked but negligence or poor quality never being ignored. I started it with a scenario that when you go to class early and the lecturer comes to find other not in he charges on you who are already there, indicating that you are not serious as a whole. He wont take a minute to realized that you are there and not responsible for the late comers in anyway. He completely ignores the good you did but the bad from those who are not present gets pushed on to you.

Now let's take a look here, steem cleaners come around not to vote quality posts but to condemn lousy posts into oblivion. That is the nature of things. This is because everyone expects quality to a certain extent and unless you exceed that extraordinarily, no one will give you any special attention. But when you fall below that expectation then it means you are lousy and that cannot be ignored.

Don't think for a second that this article meant to ridicule the fact that poor quality attracts attention than good quality. This article is rather meant to try to give meaning and reason to this fact.

I am a doctor, my duty is to save lives, why then should anybody commend me anytime I save a life? After all, isn't that what I am paid to do?
Now lets say one day I get a call from my girlfriend that she is over for a weekend and wants to meet me. I have missed her a lot and I anxious to meet her, you know, love matters!
Through this, I make mistakes in my procedures and it leads to someone's death or incapacitation, should this be ignored?

This is the very reason why humans are engineered to care more about what we didn't do than what we did. If steem cleaners for example were to upvote every good article it would not make sense, in fact they simply does not have the capacity to. But it is very necessary that the few lousy work which makes this platform lose its value of value addition to be down voted.

I had wanted to follow this with a great story that would have illustrated this point but I am just too exhausted and if not for the promise I had made, I wouldn't have been able to even complete this short piece.
