A pesar de tener un nombre como que quisiera desir tonto, menso, o idiota, es una de las lagunas con mas prestigio en los valles de colombia, asi es tiene su historia, pero es relarga, lo que puedo desirle es que antes de existieran los valles, sonso cubria todos esos valles, y es tambien contemplada como reserva natural señores.
