Nigerians and their everyday Drama

Every single day I am amazed by the gross stupidity exhibited by some humans of social media specifically Facebook.

There's hardly a day that goes by without some fresh drama.
I had seen hints of some sort of squabble on this space but I knew it would eventually let itself out.
I find it very unbelievable that in 2018 with the current hike in prices of commodities, epileptic power supply and almost unbearable heat, homo sapiens can actually create a group with the sole aim of gossiping about supposed 'social media celebrities'.
Unbelievable doesn't even come close to describing this monumental stupidity.
Everyone has at one point in time gossiped consciously or not but to take it to a grand scale such as this, is nothing short of despicable.

Imagine the horror of finding your friends using your deepest secrets to gain entry into a Facebook group. I mean, how worthless do you have to think yourself to beg and place your self worth on a platter just to belong to a group on FACEBOOK!

I thought I wouldn't comment on the issue but seeing someone who had embarrassed a 'friend' saying it is just gossip and everybody does it, broke my heart in so many pieces.

Everybody has things they're not exactly proud to say. Bringing people down and jeering about their 'juicy secrets' won't change your own lives.
It won't change your pathetic lives, won't give you jobs, pay your bills and definitely won't lift you above them.

Be careful of people you call friends.

As for those of you taking your generational issues to Rant HQ and other groups and putting your life stories in the inbox of group administrators, I genuinely feel sorry you.

Sometimes a problem shared is just another story to talk about. Few people care.

Don't let out things that would break you if they get to public knowledge.
We all have secrets, don't make yours the 9 'o clock news.

Sort:

Lol dont let yours be the 9o'clock news..i love your words and everything you said is true..nigerians to be precise have made facebook their homes and solution to every bugging issue they face. They now believe they can find answers on social media than reality which cant be. Anyways a word they say is enough for the wise

I completely agree with you @emajor983
