Path of Sages

Wisdom can have a high cost.

It allows a better understanding of life in exchange for it to become -perhaps- a desolate existence. After all, the wise inspires confidence, but does not trust. They understand, but feel misunderstood.

They hold hands with loneliness, as if it were their only friend, and sometimes they know so much that they can't stand it, like an old oak with too many branches.

Oh, yes... a dangerous gift, the wisdom.

But in the end, the wisest realize that they always trusted, and were always understood. They say goodbye to loneliness with nostalgia. They pay attention to the fact that, in coexistence, they still have lessons to learn.

In the last stretch of their journey, they finish where they started. There they sow and, if possible, see how the roots of their most precious knowledge extend: their legacy.
