ONE WHO RUNS ALONE CANNOT BE OUTRUN

Yes! You can only be outrun when you are in a race!

Although, competition is actually good for a better performance, but a competition which is intra is better than that which is inter.

Many of us see ourselves in the shadow of others...
Some of us are fond of comparing our lives with others...
We often distract ourselves by wanting to be better than or be like others.

This situation is what brings about hatred and jealousy... It creates enmity and draws us back drastically.
When you forget to focus on your own betterment but focus on how you would outshine mates, you might end up beating them but not yourself.

You may be lucky to get better (compared to them) in whatever thing you are working on, but have you ever thought that you can only be better than them and not than your yesterday.

Instead of engaging in an unhealthy competition with colleagues, why not compete with your past?
You can easily get better when you strive to be better than the you of yesterday.

What hurts us is when the one we are competing with, outshines us. It hurts and confuses us to be outrun by a counterpart. As a matter of fact, it kills the vibe to focus on oneself.

On the other hand, if you are performing lower than previous, you can always, on your own, work on how to improve without hating yourself.
This is why you shouldn't see yourself in any competition with others.

As from today, stand up, wake up and cheer yourself up to do better than yesterday and not better than your colleagues.

It feels good to be better than previous, but feels hurt to be bettered than by counterparts/counterfeits...

I just hope we understand this....

Let's all have a beautiful month.
