Pro Wrestling Philosophy

in #wrestling7 years ago

Twenty years ago I began my journey in professional wrestling. I was just barely 18 with the "kid's dream" of being in 'The biz'. I moved to Tampa, Florida, and was fortunate enough to train with The Man of 1000 Holds, Dean Malenko.

This blog is more an opportunity to share insights about the biz, stories from the road, and, as the title suggests, philosophy about the nature of pro wrestling. I realize it's not everyone's cup of tea, but over the next few weeks I'd like to share, rant, maybe cultivate interest, and answer questions others have about the profession.

I would like to add, though, that despite my training, I've never worked for World Championship Wrestling or World Wrestling Entertainment. I have, however, had the opportunity to meet many of the veterans and pick their brains as well.

I will begin my next entry with my journey through training, but please, send me your questions and I will address them as best I can!
