If there is one aspect where blockchain technology is really needed, it is the area of free internet access for all, an open internet system that transcends barrier and geographical plains to bring to the world the greatest innovation yet known to man. The internet is the pinnacle of our daily existence with innovative improvement in smartphone technology and smart contract applications everywhere, the internet is the piece that completes the puzzle. The reason why we need the internet may vary but one thing is certain, it helps facilitate our day-to-day activities.

The ICO and WeToken

How it Works

World WI-Fi is eliminating the era of using passwords to have access to the internet. The company has innovative methods that involves a three group concept for the proper functioning of the services while acquiring its token, the WeToken, WT. The WeToken is the catalyst of WorldWiFi and it is based on the ethereum platform and makes use of the smart contract. The three arms of the WorldWiFi blockchain ecosystem is the user (basically the average person, you and I), the router (the person that provides the internet services to the user), and the advertisers.

Since the world wifi network is based on ads impression, users are expected to watch short ads placed by advertising agencies on the router’s link before they gain access to the open internet system. The DPoS will prevent data fabrication; verify that routers are duly rewarded for each ad viewed and other necessary information relating to the company, advertising agencies, routers and the users.
