Switzerland and Costa Rica are scheduled to play their World Cup Group E match on 6/27/18 at 2:00pm EST. Switzerland has everything to play for and can guarantee themselves a place in the 2nd round with a win or tie. A loss might place Switzerland out of contention or into a series of tiebreakers with Brazil that could end with counting cards and drawing lots. Costa Rica will not advance from group play but are eager to score their first goal of the tournament and prove they are a better team than we have seen thus far.
