Kinston Lacy: time travel
Hello my dear Steemians,
When seeing these tooms, for me even the inner design itself is a part of history, I still impressed witht he work on ceiling, I remember ourselves when we had to cover our ceiling with wallpaper and later to paint over, that was the most horrible part, because of working over head. I remember how my hubby had head and neck pain and that is only with simple wallpaer and just one colour. When you look at these ceiling there are fine work all over and also the decorative pattern made of timber or maybe decorated in gold colour coving. I think everyone would love to move in and live in such place.
The rooms have much light due to big windows, that is another impressive t hing that I always wonder how in old time it was possible to get such big glass and create such window. Nowadays, understandably these rooms will need more heating as those windows are not very good isolated. Maybe that is another reason why the owners allow to use the rooms as museum so that they can effort to keep the beauty preserved.
