Incredible story my friend. I have been to Spain as well, I studied abroad there in 2009, and it's beautiful as you say. I heard the economy is terrible for young folks now, but hopefully it will get better. This is one of those life experiences you will never forget. I would suggest going back one day just to see those people you made friends with, even if it's just a week. Those people will remember you and you will have a blast. It's a shame that they wanted you to stick to the script. I have worked in sales too, and I know how it goes. It sucks because you're right, sometimes the way you do it works out even better because you are a human and a script doesn't fit everyone's needs! Anyway great post man I really enjoyed reading it.
