UPDATE: Steemit Feed for WordPress v.1.0.3 - Reward sum fix + other small changes - POLL: Vote for new features
Hi everybody,
Thank you all for supporting Steemit Feed for WordPress.
Your feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated and we want you to know that we will gradually introduce all the features that are requested by users.
Fixes and changes in v.1.0.3
- Fixes the reward sum (displayed as $0.00 when payout has not started)
- Fixes the upvotes count
- Changes the votes icon (user icon has been replaced by an arrow icon to match the Steemit layout)
- Small changes in admin layout
Concerns
In v.1.0.2, we introduced a new parameter "Exclude tags" that excludes posts from specified tags (suggested by @sergeybiryukov). The problem is that when you exclude tags, the "Posts count" parameter does not work as expected. We are aware of this situation and we'll try to find a solution.
We are also working on a "Include tags" functionality that will do the opposite, i.e. will include posts from specified tags only. This will be implemented in one of the next updates.
Roadmap
These are some of the features that we will implement in the upcoming weeks:
- "Include tags" parameter
- Ajax pagination ("Load more" button)
- Author card above the feed (avatar, name etc)
- Alternative layouts
- Other types of feeds (eg. trending, hot from multiple authors etc)
Poll
Which of the above new features are more important to you? Please let us know in the comments below.

You guys are awesome! Voting for include tags first.
Anyway we can make this responsive too? I checked it on mobile and it all smashes together side by side as opposed to changing layout and putting the image above the text..
You're right about that. I will make it responsive in version 1.0.4 with image above text.
And what do you think about possibly giving the admin side of things some controls for thumbnail size, h1, p, b, span, a (size, color, other basic needs) and fields that just replace the CSS for noobs? Would make my life 100x easier :P
oh and while were at it, anyway to clean up the automagically imported markdown markup such as "# " and " [linkname] ( link)"?
for reference:

Sure! I will add parameters for the following:
About the markup clean-up, I will add an optional parameter to remove #tags and @usernames.
OOOH genius idea as well, can you give users a way to add a referral code to all the links? All that needs to be add is ?r=username and just replace username with whatever the user chooses or none at all, then steem blockchain can track the referrals... one day @ned might let us pull this data but for now only he sees it, but it still works!
Sure, will be added in v.1.0.4 :)
Should this work only for post links?
Again, thank you! Keep posting update posts as you do these things and I bet you'll garner a following rather quickly, this is somehow flying under the radar today :p
You are awesome! I am a web designer and do alot of crypto work so I will be using this ALOT for clients and suggesting it everywhere I see a need! Thank you!
Great news. A possible workaround regarding the posts number with tags excluded: just use a higher number.
I think it's also a question of tag choice. If we always use #steemit tag for "internal" posts, it would be enough to filter them out. But of course things could get more complicated with time.
Yes, for now we can just use a higher number. I'll try to work something out for the next version.
Nice to see that you have the plugin in the official wordpress repository now. :)
