International Women's Day- March 8th
Hello Steemians! Today I want to present about our most favorite day. Yes, it is INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY. It is celebrated on March 8 every year. This year International women’s day is celebrated with the theme #BalanceForBetter. It is a day when women recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political. International Women's Day first emerged from the activities of labour movements at the turn of the twentieth century in North America and across Europe.
Today, International Women's Day is a public holiday in some countries and largely ignored elsewhere. In some places, it is a day of protest; in others, it is a day that celebrates womanhood. It should be celebrated mainly for Women Empowerment. Women should be encouraged not only on this day but also throughout the year. Let us make a pledge on this day to respect and Support every woman.
