Women Health And Beauty Go Hand In Hand
Even with the economy as bad as it is, #women continue to spend money on #beauty products that promise flawless skin. The truth of the matter is that you can use all the beauty products in the world, and none of them will make up for a poor diet and lack of exercise. If we treat our bodies well, it will show in naturally glowing #skin.
The skin on a person’s body is the largest living organ we have. As such, it will reflect everything that a person chooses to ingest through #diet. With all of the latest interest in proper diet for good #health, the basic diet plan is rather simple.
People have known for years that the consumption of fats and sugars can cause plaque build up within the arteries. With so much of the blood supply located just below the surface of the skin, it follows that bad skin will be reflected in the food that we eat.
A diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables is the most beneficial. This is not to say that all other foods must be avoided. Everything we eat offers us some sort of benefit, but red meats and sugars consumed in excess will prove to be hazardous to your skin and overall health. Keep sugar consumption low and replace red meat with chicken and fish.
Another food that we should watch closely is starches. It definitely has its benefits but portions should be kept to about five per day. Refined starches things such as white bread and rice have much less benefit than brown rice and wheat breads.
Exercise in any manner is good for the entire body. Simple walking has been shown to be as beneficial as jogging when it is done at least three times a week for about thirty minutes each. Exercise has a way of bringing a natural glow to the skin that will remain long after the exercise has stopped.
If you are bothered with dark circles and puffy eyes, this could be due to a lack of sleep. Sleep restores our body’s natural rhythm and an adequate amount will find us refreshed, restored, and ready to face another day.
Following a healthy lifestyle will leave the skin looking vibrant. An application of sunscreen and a dab of moisturizer is all a woman needs to maintain skin that looks and feels soft and luxurious. Facial wrinkles are a part of growing older for all women, but failure to take care of yourself nutritionally can have them appearing much sooner that they should be.
