wakucat code
Welcome to the home of @wakucat witness!
Yahoo! The server runs reliably. Security is taken care and the first block transaction was successful. But what more does @wakucat offer? Is there still something to develop?
Technical stability is essential, but @wakucat likes to focus on human connections. Loneliness increases, which shouldn't be the case on social media. Thousands of Steemians are present and drop a daily message. If we all read, leave 3 comments, upvote daily and reply, Steemit would change into a lively, visible platform.
Be aware that social media thrives on connection, not just dropping a post. Too often, Steemit feels like a ghost town, especially for those who don't know where to find like-minded people willing to interact, show them around and leave a valuable comment.
Steemit dies without socialising
On Instagram, Discord, Facebook and X, we comment. Why not on Steemit? It's indeed time-consuming, but so is talking in groups on WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord. If we give up on commenting, don't talk to each other, we are just quick posters, don't invest in Steemit, the platform that many of you need to keep you alive.
Note that PoB (Proof of Brain) is meant to reward human value, and those votes you have should be used.
What is it that keeps you from upvoting others? Why is it that so many users vote passively (or not at all), letting a few users decide what "good" content is and make it look all the same?
Loneliness is the silent killer
It's not only hard for new users. We all started once, excitedly. Imagine a platform where no one speaks or ever responds. How long would you hang around if not a single upvote would be given, if there was no single sign you are read?

Some Goals set
- Promoting Interaction
- Rewarding comments, engagement & discussions.
- Little fish support (SEA project)
- purr-sonal approach and comments
- Keeping Steemit human—no fake engagement
- Open Communication
- Reports on operations and rewards by @wakucat or @wakupkitty
- Freedom of writing and creating
- Room for Art
- Contests (comment contests and artistic /creative ones)
- More creativity
- An open door for everyone
Unique information

- we-write (how to be unique/write and be engaging #learnwithsteem #wewrite)
- SEA-Project support
A strong commenting culture is vital for Steemit’s survival.
Comments are the soul of engagement. A vote is a click, but a comment can become a conversation, the way to find support and make friends, which might help you out in the future.
WakuCat’s Role
- Spreading the Waku code
- Rewarding comments/replies (not just "thanks" and "nice post!").
- Creating awareness. It is important to fight the "Ghost Town" effect. Empty comment sections scare off (new) users and make communities look abandoned.
WakuCat’s Rules
- No AI-generated and copy-paste comments
- Proof-of-brain responses (unique insights, questions, humour).

Nice. Nice approach Sir, äh, Ma‘m… 😎
