@ura-soul Witness Update #14 - Working On Exciting Steem Projects, plus My Servers Are Updated to Latest Steem Version
After some delays, I have now updated my witness servers to the latest version of the Steem software (0.20.6). So far they are serving Steemy blocks just fine. :)
The new version is a bugfix release addressing issues relating to Resource Credits and other technical issues.
I had hoped to put some time into manually testing the changes put into new releases, but my other projects are making that impossible at the moment. The low crypto prices mean that I have to do other things than witnessing to pay the bills. The lower the crypto prices go, the fewer the number of witnesses there are who operate at a profit and currently significant time spent testing and even finding fixes for code in steem means running at a loss, which is something I can't do at the moment. Kudos to those who are working hard to do the testing currently though and I aim to join in ASAP.
Exciting Projects!
Besides my 'day job' tasks, I have been pretty excited to join forces with @oracle-d behind the scenes and it is likely that I will be officially on their team and website soon too. My exact capacity is yet to be fully finalised, but I feel it will be productive for Steem and I look forward to helping the project in a variety of ways. As a well backed startup company operating on the Steem Blockchain they hold a significant amount of the future momentum for Steem in their hands and I see great things for them in the next year. :)
I'm also building up my own project which is focused on bringing in new users to Steem on a large scale - plus on improving the retention levels of new users so that they stick around and help us grow the Steem eco-system instead of being frightened away by the lack of real 'proof of brain'. Stay tuned for more on this in the coming weeks!

Hopefully the prices will turn around soon. I feel it is likely as we approach the end of the year so they can make their tax grabs (and confiscations from those who ignore paying). Thanks for staying on top of it while things are down.
