RE: Its Time To Reevaluate Your Witness Votes

in #witness7 years ago

I have seen a lot of graphs with the votes people receive to become top 20 witnesses, and if these graphs are correct, about ten at the most twenty accounts are responsible for these top witnesses being there. I guess if you could get all 1 million accounts to vote they could make a difference but 10 or 20k votes from low value accounts will make no difference.

Sort:

Every single vote matters.
Of course the bigger stake you have in the platform the bigger influence you have on it, including votes for witnesses. And of course such big staked votes are the most visible on the graphs.
But low value accounts does gain in value over time if the care about the platform and want to stay being a part of it.
Post like this increase awareness among users and are very valuable.

Any chance you have a link to the graphs? Would defiantly like to see them.

Try this one, http://www.steemreports.com/witnesses/ but do it tomorrow, it has a message that they are updating and to check back.
This is another one, kind of outdated but should still help:https://steemit.com/stats/@eroche/witness-voting-distribution
