Next Problem STEEMIT.COM should fix ASAP.

So this post is more of a request for @ned @sneak @fyrstikken

I recently read that Weiss Ratings gave Steemit a B- (which is good compared to other cryptos) only because our whole concept of Steem, Steem power, and Steem Dollars is very confusing to beginners, and ebpven scares off potential users. That is not a problem Steemit wants and is definitely a problem that they can solve. I believe this should be fixed ASAP because 3 months ago when I joined Steemit I was very confused as to what the difference was between each smart media token. I also believe by find a solution to this problem will bring in way more users than we could imagine by removing the doubt and fear of uncertainty in the terms of Steemit and tokens used.

That's fair. I was super confused by it for a while too. I believe the main purpose of having the SBD was to have a currency that was pegged to the $, thus allowing merchants to have a crypto that would maintain a consistent value. This would encourage more merchants to use SBD and grow the reach of the platform. Since the SBD peg was broken, SBD has lost its main use. Yes, it is currently enriching authors more than before, but it's speculative at this point. There was a discussion to reset SBD to $1, but I was told that it fizzled out. That's where we're at.

If they reset SBD to $1 a lot of people will be pissed and lose a lot of invested money. But yes fixing this problem would make Steemit.com unstoppable.
