The average users are asking for post/comment votes. And yes, it is annoying as hell.

But witnesses asking for votes is necessary. We currently have 7.5% Witness Voting engagement.

The people that run and control the Steem network are decided by 7.5% of the network. That doesn't have to be the case. But people insist on "that witness stuff is too complex for me so I just dont vote" or something along those lines.

Makes it hard for people like Jerry and I to really get known and break through.
